Harminder Singh Boparai is a sculptor par excellence creating magic with his art, moulding clay and sculptures in all mediums and breathing life into them to create masterpieces that have a distinct specialty about them a delight to the senses indeed. His sculptures have a rare infusion and amalgamation of the traditional and the contemporary. Each master piece is an inspiration and has a story to tell. They are truly a shadow of the divine perfection. Harminder dreams for the stars and has the power and the indomitable spirit to achieve those stars, the culmination of these lofty dreams that will create a true artist showered with divine love and blessings, true art that will go beyond boundaries, art that will live beyond time to inspire every individual, to uplift the human spirit. His Journey


Born into a humble background, Harminder from a very young age had formed and strengthened an ineffable bond with Mother Nature, acquiring warmth and nourishment from it as a little baby attains loves and tender care from his mother. The chirping birds, green meadows, long wisps of clouds, sublime sunrise and sunsets. Oh what a sight they offered to him for him. Nature, the art of God gave him his first artistic and profound experience. Living in the lap of nature, the seed of art was embedded into the heart and soul of Harminder, the seed that would soon grow into a rich, prosperous, tree that would provide comfort and solace to all the travelers who would come under its shade.

The hidden talent and the spark were first ignited by Harminder’s music teacher, Mrs Manoneet Kalsi at Gobindgarh Public College. The burning passion and the raw talent was remarkably chiseled and polished by two master craftsmen and renowned painter and sculptors - Mrs. Karuna Mohindra of Tac Academy of Fine Arts and Jaswinder Singh Mehndi Pur, that Harminder could clearly see his purpose in life the rare masterpieces made with sheer determination, zeal and flair saw the light of the day for the first time at Sirjan 2005, a state level academic exhibition. It was the beginning of a never ending journey of success, recognition and fulfillment for Harminder. The annual exhibitions at Indian Academy of Fine Arts and Lalit Kala Academy were other hallmarks of achievement in the field of art.

Mr. Harminder Singh Boparai has taught sculpture, anatomy, and related subjects since 2005, and is currently an Adjunct Faculty member of Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana, Punjab.
